MX Player’s paid version lets you watch videos without interruption and without ads.
It is designed to be lightweight and only has the essential features. As a result, some features, like online videos, may not be available right now due to regional restrictions.

About the permission to “Disable screen lock”: This authorization is expected to eliminate screen lock briefly when Children lock mode is utilized. By the by, secure screen lock won’t be debilitated.
Concerning the permissions to “Control vibration” and “Prevent device from sleeping”: On some devices, media playback requires these permissions.
