While being effective, Lock It is a very small application.
From Android 4.1 (Jelly Bean) to Android 5.1.1 (Lollipop): Quickly swipe up from the home button to access the lock screen on Android 6.0 Marshmallow and later: To lock the screen, long-press the home button after selecting the default Assist app.
To get rid of: Deselect Lock It in the Device Administrators section of Settings, then uninstall as usual.
